The Split archipelago is probably the most interesting of all Croatian archipelagos, as the country’s trendiest, most romantic and picturesque islands can be found off the coast of Split.
You will be spoiled for choice on the islands of Hvar, Brač, Korčula, with lots of historical treasures, hidden beaches and unspoiled nature. The best part is that the islands are easy to reach that leaves you a plenty of time to really get to know them.

Day 1 – SPLIT, arrival day

Located in the heart of Dalmatia, Split became a popular retirement destination in the 4th century for Roman emperors such as Diocletian. Today, it is renowned for its variety of archaeological, historical and cultural monuments among them the UNESCO-listed Diocletian Palace. A centre of culture, Split has a number of museums, the National Theatre and hosts a summer music festival. The city offers plenty of eateries, bars and cafes. To experience some local culture head to the Green Market called Pazar, where you can jump in and join the hubbub. The buying and selling frenzy involves a variety of goods from fresh fruits and veggies, to clothing and other odds and ends.
One thing is certain, you will have loads of things to do in Split! Split is a typical Mediterranean town, vibrant, charming and fun. As the largest Dalmatian town, Split also offers to its visitors loads of romantic things to do. Stroll along Split's seafront promenade, visit museums and art galleries.
Use this great opportunity to visit the capital city of Dalmatia, Split and discover the city on your own, plenty interesting sight to see and enjoy.

Day 2 – SPLIT – SUPETAR, BRAČ

Brač is a rather quiet island. It's often visited by families with children or in general by people who just want to relax on their holiday. In other words, it's a perfect destination if you want to enjoy beautiful beaches and nature that surrounds them. Brač is a great island to explore as you can catch a glimpse of the authentic island life in Dalmatia. Especially the villages of Splitska, Pučišća and Milna are worth a visit if you want to find out how people used to live. The villagers still earn a living through fishing, farming (olive groves and vineyards) and cutting the famous white stone that is used in buildings all around the world, even in The White House.

After a free morning you will head to the Split harbor to catch boat to Supetar, Brač (the duration of the trip is approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival you will have free time to explore and enjoy the island yourself unless desired differently to have organized tour. You will have a dinner at a traditional restaurant, overnight in a hotel.

Day 3 –BOL, BRAČ – HVAR, HVAR

A visit to Brač would not be complete without spending at least a few hours on Zlatni Rat beach, Croatia’s most beautiful beach. The beach lies close to one of the islands bigger towns, Bol, which is a great place to go for a drink or a meal after spending some quality time at the beach.

Hvar is an oasis of vegetation in the Adriatic Sea, and the luscious coasts of the island classify it as one of the most romantic destinations in Croatia. Hvar is known for its nice and clean beaches. You'll find both pebbly and sandy beaches. Blue sea and the beauty of the forests that surround most of the beaches create natural shade and idyllic atmosphere. Climb to the top of the town and experience a bird’s eye view of the vibrant city Hvar. The enchanted fortress has been around since 500 BC and is a popular destination for tourists, so why not spend a romantic day there with your partner?

After breakfast you will drive to Bol for some free time. From there you will take a boat for island of Hvar (trip will take about 40 minutes). Free time until dinner that will be served at the hotel.

Day 4 – HVAR, HVAR - ISLAND OF HVAR - HVAR, HVAR

Hvar, the island of lavender. It is one of the great claims about the island, and seeing (and smelling) lavender in bloom in June and July is one of the highlights of the year. And to conclude day on a romantic note, meet the new Bohemian Romantic Sunset Dinner, the most intimate and romantic dinner setting you will find. The setting is faithful to those core natural Hvar values. A spectacular location on this sunniest of islands, with dinner timed to coincide with what is one of the most fabulous sunset vantage points on this incredible island. An intimate setting, with private table for just one couple (or maximum four people if you want to share the experience), set in total isolation in an olive grove whose oil bears testament to that Mediterranean diet UNESCO heritage.

Day 5 –HVAR, HVAR – KORČULA, KORČULA

The charming historical town, located right on the water on the northeastern end of the island, plus the variety of beaches on its coastline, make Korčula another major contender on the list of Croatia’s most romantic destinations. The town is fortified by 13th-century walls, within which the Romanesque cathedral of St. Mark’s and the Franciscan monastery are still preserved; in fact, you could consider it a smaller, yet equally fascinating, version of Dubrovnik.

Day 6 – KORČULA - DUBROVNIK

You can imagine that a city known as “the Pearl of the Adriatic” is perfect for couples looking for a romantic location to visit. Dubrovnik is an UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the town’s well-preserved beauty: limestone streets that, over the centuries, have become smooth and polished, combined with the Medieval walls surrounding the city, Gothic and Baroque churches and a historic Franciscan monastery. Old Town Dubrovnik is a gem of the Dalmatian coast which will not disappoint travellers searching for romantic destinations in Croatia.
